What is Cowboy Church?
Simply put, Cowboy Church is a come-as-you-are, relaxed church atmosphere with faith-based ministry straight from the Bible. We are non-judgmental folks who don't care what you wear, what you drive, or how much money and possessions you do or don't have. We know we are all God's children and our Lord Jesus Christ loves us and died for our sins.
The sermons are short and straight to the point. Our music is Christian - but it's country! Our mission is to eliminate "religious and man-made barriers" and just get down to the basics found in God's word. We do things a little different so that there is no pressure and no preconceptions about church.
We don't "pass the offering plate". Those who want to contribute their tithes and offerings may do so by putting something in the milk can at the back of the Church. This provides more privacy in their giving.
We don't have lengthy "invitations" or "altar call" at the end of our service. If you desire to join our Church or want to learn more about Christian commitment, you can fill out a "green card" located on the table at the back of the Church and a Pastor will contact you.
We use a horse trough for baptisms, our church has no steeple, no stained glass, and no padded pews; it's just a group of ordinary folks that care enough to get to know you and help encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
